Music

Music at St. Mark’s is led by Mr. David B. Moklebust.

Congregational song is led by two state of the art digital instruments.  Through generous pledges and donations from members of St. Mark’s and friends, the congregation was able to purchase a new Rodgers 2-manual digital organ and a full-size Kurzweil digital keyboard.   These digital instruments continue to be a blessing to St. Mark’s.  The worship experience has been greatly enhanced by the myriad of sounds possible on these instruments.  The added recording and playback feature on the organ has proven very useful during those times when the organist is away.

St. Mark's is pleased to show you their beautiful building and worship space, with it's exquisite stained glass windows throughout the sanctuary and corridors.  The sanctuary also includes a number of wooden icons depicting the Stations of the Cross as well as various saints.

The weaving above the rear door was down by Vernon White, long-time organist, who made it in honor of  The Rev. Canon John Taylor, who retired as Rector of St. Mark's in the mid-1970's. The weaving contains symbols for the 4 gospels, the cross, and the Virgin Mary.

The side chapel was installed during Father Stephen Hall's tenure, as a place for private prayer or meditation, or for very small services.
